APF are currently recruiting a new lead to develop the charity’s Peer Support and Advisory Service.
The new recruit will develop the charity’s network of volunteers, to broaden the range of support we can offer to more PF patients, carers and families. They will ensure that the service operates safely, overseeing the support line and telephone befriender service and developing new opportunities such as ‘first responder’ support for patients and carers via support groups. They will ensure that all APF volunteers, including our ‘Voices’ and Research Champions, have the training and support they need to feel confident and equipped, and develop new information and signposting so that more people living with PF find helpful services and resources. For more information and to apply, check out our job page.
