A new support group is reaching out to anyone with pulmonary fibrosis who has had or is waiting for a transplant.
The new PF TX (PF Transplant Patients) Support Group aims to provide a forum for anyone with PF who has had a transplant or waiting to have one. It’s an opportunity to share experience, mutual support, and engage with interesting speakers, such as Dr Jas Parmar, Consultant Physician, Papworth Lung Transplant service.
The group is run by APF Chair, Steve Jones, who had a lung transplant for PF a few years ago and understands the many challenges facing anyone who is waiting for or recovering from a transplant, and family or friends supporting them, from the demanding preparations for surgery to ensuring a good recovery.
The group would be delighted to welcome new members! For further information contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 07887 854940.
