What is the PF Support Group Cymru?
When you are living with PF and find it difficult to get to a local in-person support group, it can sometimes feel quite isolating. This is an online group where people across Wales can get together, share experiences, learn from and support each other. The group will be facilitated in English.
What happens during a meeting?
A large part of each meeting will be a chance to discuss all aspects of pulmonary fibrosis together. There will be an APF staff member present to facilitate the meeting, but the discussions will be guided by the group members. You're welcome to join in the discussions or just come along and listen.
Unless otherwise agreed, each meeting will have an arranged speaker who will talk about living well with PF. This may be about diet, pulmonary rehabilitation, talking to your family about PF, looking after your mental health or any other topics that are important to you.
When is the group?
The group meets bi-monthly on the second Tuesday of the month from 2.00pm to 3.30pm. Future dates will be confirmed at each meeting.
