Louise's Zipwire Challenge

Louise Crookes recently accomplished something truly inspiring - she bravely took on a thrilling Zipwire Challenge to support our charity. As a dedicated community respiratory nurse, Louise was determined to test her limits, and in doing so - not only did she conquer the zipwire, but she also raised an impressive £300 for APF!

Louise shared her motivation for fundraising for APF:

"I have the privilege to be a community respiratory nurse, working for Medway Community Healthcare. My colleagues and I support our patients with the Medway Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group and through our amazing respiratory team service. I am honoured to be there for our patients and their families at what can be the most challenging and emotional time in their lives, and I am keen to raise funds to help support research and raise awareness of this life changing diagnosis."

"I see/hear the challenges our patients and their families face every day, so thought it was time to push myself out of my comfort zone and challenge myself, raising money/awareness at the same time."

Lou takes the big leap!

"I aim to set a bigger challenge next year and hope my wonderful patients, colleagues, friends and family will support me again in my endeavour."
